Internet passwords 3D Secure

  • 3D Secure or SecureCode - is your personal password required for safe online payments. If you pay for the purchase from online retailers that support this technology, you will be offered to enter a password 3D Secure / SecureCode.

    This operation is similar to entering PIN-code at an ATM. Only you can use the card for online payments. With 3D Secure / SecureCode technology payment for online shopping becomes more secure.

    Internet passwords 3D Secure / Secure Code are mandatory for Visa and MasterCard payment cards issued by JSC "Kazkommertsbank".

  • When shopping online you will be redirected to a page with 3D Secure (if your card is VISA) or the Secure Code (if your card is MasterCard) application with request to enter your secret password as the final confirmation of payment.

    After you enter your secret password you will be identified in a few seconds and the payment will be confirmed.

  • Note: This guide is relevant for QAZKOM Cardholders, cardholders of other banks should contact their card-issuing bank.

    To set a password for online payments is very simple and will not take much time.

    • Log in to Homebank.kz
    • Go to the "Payment Cards" section, select the required card and go to card settings or click on 3D Secure / Secure Code shortcut
    • Enter name and last name given on the card
    • Come up with your own password and carefully enter it in the appropriate field
    • Press continue button
    • You will receive SMS with the confirmation code, type it in the window that appears

    Congratulations! Your password for online shopping is set. Remember it and use for every online payment.

  • Beware of frauds and be careful

    • Only the Bank that issued your card is able to ask you to enter the secret password
    • Never enter passwords on other websites 
    • In the address line of a browser there must only be the address starting as - https://cardsecure.kkb.kz
    • PIN-code can never be entered on any web sites

    The most frequent causes

    • Invalid input of 3D Secure / Secure Code password
    • 3D Secure / Secure Code password is not installed on the card (contact your bank)
    • The server of your card-issuing bank is unavailable
    • The merchant (online store) is incorrectly registered in the payment system
    • Payment card is incorrectly registered in the payment system (contact your bank)
  • The data of committed payment is incorrect. Contact the online store you making payment.

  • The bank that issued your card, introduced some restrictions on its use.

    You should contact the bank that serves your card to find out the cause and remove restrictions.

  • The card you are trying to make payment with is listed as lost in the database. You should contact your bank that services the card.

  • The funds on your card are insufficient to make payment. You should replenish the card with any method provided by your bank.

    If the funds were sufficient and you have already made payment that ended with any mistake, it is possible that this amount has been blocked and is not available. To unlock the amount, you can call or write to the store where you made an unsuccessful payment or call QAZKOM Call-Center. Tell any payment data that are available to you

    • Time and date of transaction
    • Order number
    • Transaction reference (RRN number)
    • Session number
    • E-mail

    IMPORTANT! Never give a full card number! It is not safe.

    If you need to give the number, give only first 6 and last 4 figures, these data is sufficient to identify your transaction.

  • The card is expired or invalid data about card validity period entered.

    Check the expiration date with the current date (printed on the card) and try again.

    If the card has expired you need to reissue a card or use a card with valid expiry date.

  • The bank that issued your card introduced some restrictions on its use. Internet transactions are forbidden on the card. Please contact the Bank that serves you to understand the reason and put away the restrictions.

    If you are using a QAZKOM card, you can manually disable the restriction to make online payments at Homebank.kz or call QAZKOM Call-Center.

  • Payment in favor of the merchant temporarily suspended. Please try again later.

  • The daily limit is exceeded due to this possible reasons

    • The daily limit on the card payment (please contact your card-issuing Bank)
    • Daily limit for payments received by the Merchant accepting online payments (please refer to the Merchant)
